HANGZHOU (China) – FIBA today confirmed that Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang province, will host the fifth edition of the FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series Final on 7-8 September 2024. The flagship women’s pro circuit event will mark China’s debut as host, underlining the country’s growing influence in 3×3 basketball.
Hangzhou, known for its dynamic blend of historical charm and modern culture, is no stranger to organizing major sporting events, having successfully hosted the 2023 Asian Games. With its experience and facilities, the city will provide the perfect setting for the FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series Final, making it a landmark event for players and fans alike.

The tournament will feature the top seven teams from the Women’s Series regular season, alongside host nation China, competing for the championship title. With a total of 20 events throughout this season and over 1.4 million USD in prize money, the Women’s Series is set to reach unprecedented heights.
This season got underway in Springfield, USA, in April, marking the first Women’s Series event on American soil since the competition’s launch in 2019. Defending champions, Canada, who clinched the title at the inaugural event in Springfield will be aiming for a third consecutive victory after their back-to-back victories in the previous finals.
