BOULOGNE-BILLANCOURT, France — Renault Group has named Bruno Laforge as its new Chief Human Resources Officer, the company announced Monday. Laforge, currently CHRO at Capgemini, will assume the role on April 1, 2025, succeeding François Roger.
Laforge will join Renault’s Leadership Team and report directly to CEO Luca de Meo.
“I would like to thank François for his commitment since joining the Group in 2018,” de Meo said. “I now look forward to working closely with Bruno as he continues and accelerates the global transformation of our company in the context of profound change in the industry. His extensive experience in talent management, as well as his international background, will be an essential asset for us in making Renault Group a ‘great company.’”
Laforge, 56, has built a career in human resources across fast-evolving, tech-driven sectors, including digital services, pharmaceuticals, oil and gas, and automotive. His expertise spans talent management, business transformation, and organizational development.
Before joining Capgemini in 2023 to lead its transformation, Laforge held several senior HR roles at Sanofi over a 12-year period, including Senior Vice President of Human Resources for R&D, Vaccines, and Europe. He also worked in the energy sector as Vice President of Human Resources and Head of Mergers and Acquisitions.
His appointment comes as Renault continues to navigate rapid changes in the automotive industry, focusing on innovation, electrification, and global workforce development.
