MIES (Switzerland) – TISSOT has unveiled their newest luxury watch, the Supersport Chrono Basketball Edition, which features a unique FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 strap in celebration of the competition.
Bringing together quality Swiss watchmaking and design with the high-energy dynamics inspired by TISSOT’s long association with the global basketball culture, the special limited edition timepiece joins its already impressive collection of sports chronograph watches.
The FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 strap has been designed to honor the tournament’s primary colors, with corner stitching in blue, red, orange, and yellow, while the official logo is elegantly embossed in a subtle tone-on-tone manner. The strap upholds versatility by seamlessly fitting any timepiece with a 22mm lug width, thanks to TISSOT’s quick-change system.
A high-performance sports watch, the Supersport Chrono Basketball Edition boasts 100 meters of water resistance and the chronograph hands are in a sporty orange, as is the watch’s central chronograph seconds hand, a color chosen for its parallels with basketball.
TISSOT’s new ambassador, Guillermo ‘Willy’ Hernangomez will be showcasing the Supersport Chrono Basketball Edition at the event. The Spanish basketball star will lead his country at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023, coming off his exceptional performance at the FIBA EuroBasket 2022, where he earned the TISSOT MVP award.
