LIVERPOOL, England (CHATNEWSTV) — Mohamed Salah has raised more questions about his future at Liverpool after revealing that there has been “no progress” in negotiations over a new contract with the Premier League club.
The 32-year-old winger, who is out of contract this summer, expressed concern over the lack of movement on a fresh deal during an interview with Sky Sports. “There is nothing, no progress there. We are far away from any progress, so we just need to wait and see,” Salah said, indicating that discussions have stalled.
Salah’s current contract situation means he is free to sign a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs, adding to the uncertainty surrounding his long-term future at Anfield. Along with Salah, key players such as Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk also have contracts expiring in the near future.
“I’m in my last year, my last six months, until my future is sorted out,” Salah added, further suggesting that the resolution of his contract situation is imminent.
