Photos: Former Emir Of Kano, Lamido Sanusi Meets With Niger Military Leaders

Former Emir of Kano, Alhaji Lamido Sanusi, has met with junta leaders in trouble Niger Republic.

The meeting between the military leaders and the former bank chief is coming after the junta controlled government called off a meeting with representatives of the African Union–AU, ECOWAS and a top US diplomat.

Moreover, military authorities in Niger turned down a meeting request by ECOWAS and the US delegation following the regional bloc directives to member states to close their border with the former French colony on Monday.

Meanwhile, details of Sanusi’s meeting with the coup leaders at the time of filing this report is not known.
