Afrobeats singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has declared himself an ‘ambassador’ of the Nigeria Police Force on social media. This announcement comes a few days after his release from police custody.
The singer, known for stirring controversy, was recently arrested by the police for failing to settle a debt incurred from the purchase of a G-Wagon from a car dealer in Lagos State. He was subsequently charged to court and later released after fulfilling the bail conditions set by the presiding judge.
In a recent Instagram post following his release, the ‘Zazu’ singer expressed his support for the police, describing them as “our friends.” Reflecting on his ordeal, he stated his belief that every “disappointment is a blessing.”
