Senator Lawal Adamu Usman (Mr. LA), The Quintessential Politician On A Mission

It is without gainsaying that Distinguished Senator -Elect Lawal Adamu Usman, popularly known as Mr LA, is set to carve a niche for himself in the upper legislative chamber of the National Assembly. The significance of this gist is that the Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone is blessed with competent personnel who have and are ready to continue to introduce fundamental innovations and far reaching reforms that will impact on their communities and turn things around both within their immediate constituencies and the country.

The outgoing Senator and the Executive Governor of Kaduna State His Excellency (Sen) Uba Sani had introduced revolutionary legislations that had stood the test of time. Having successfully accomplished his legislative duties he is set to exit the stage for a worthy successor . Senator LA has been an accomplished politician, an emancipator , a philanthropist of note ,a shrewd and an astute businessman. He is set and fully equipped to storm the red chamber to perform his legislative and constitutionally assigned duties of making laws for the peace, order and good governance of the Nation.  As a sign of expected glad news coupled with his desire to hit the ground running he has outlined some important bills which he hopes to present soon, the bills when presented and progressed to an act they have the potency to impact positively on our citizens.  He will bring it to the attention, consideration and approval of his esteemed colleagues in due course.

Similarly, as part of his humanitarian efforts to bring help to his people, he hopes to embark on some key infrastructural projects, skills acquisition and manpower development initiatives that will impact and improve the lives of his constituents.

He also plans to develop poverty eradication and trade support initiatives to cushion the effects of the subsidy removal in his constituency, which he hopes will put smiles on the faces of his people.

A cursory look at his educational attainments and pedigree is sufficient to boost his chances of securing key committee responsibilities that are commensurate with his stature. In highlighting his historical background, one needs not to go too far to fathom his life wishes and expectations.

Mr. LA lives a life of human service in philanthropy, advocacy, social/ business entrepreneurship and community development. He started his educational career from Demonstration Primary School Gwagwalada Abuja 1986. After his primary education he proceeded to Great Diamond Academy Zaria in 2011.

He has since graduation been engaged in private practice, brokerages and investment portfolio’s activities that have yielded positive results.

He ventured into partisan politics in life by first pitching his tent with the All Nigerian People’s Party (ANPP) which later metamorphosed into the All progressive congress (APC) after which he defected to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) where he first contested for senatorial seat against Sen Uba Sani of the APC in 2019 to which he was declared unsuccessful by INEC . His second coming was in February this year an election he won with a landslide.

Prior to that he has been a household name in Kaduna state due to his interventionist and philanthropic gestures which had earned him commendations and accolades across the state.
