Supreme Court To Open First Hearing Of Atiku, Obi’s Appeal

The Supreme Court has scheduled Monday, October 23, for a hearing in the appeal filed by the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the last presidential election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

Atiku is challenging the September 6, judgment of the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) which dismissed his petition against the victory of President Bola Tinubu in the February 25 presidential election.

The apex court has sent out a hearing notice, to that effect, to the parties.

On the same day, the Supreme Court will also hear the appeal lodged by the presidential candidate of the Labour Party–LP, Mr Peter against the tribunal judgement that affirmed President Tinubu’s victory in the last election.
