PORT SUDAN, Sudan, March 10, 2024 – Her Excellency Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater, the Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, toured a number of medical and health institutions in the city of Port Sudan, Republic of Sudan, as part of her current visit to the country.
During her visit, Her Excellency toured kidney disease and surgery hospitals, the Port Sudan General Hospital, and the National Medical Supplies Fund. She met with several officials from these institutions and engaged in cordial conversations with the patients. Her Excellency presented the patients with gifts and expressed her wishes for their full health and wellness.
Her Excellency Al Khater also expressed her hopes for security, stability, and prosperity for the brotherly nation of Sudan. She was accompanied during the tour by His Excellency Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, the Minister of Health of the Republic of Sudan, His Excellency Mustafa Mohammed Nour, the Governor of the Red Sea State, and several other Sudanese officials.
This visit underscores the commitment to strengthening international cooperation and enhancing the health and wellness of the people in the region.
