Afrobeats singer and record label owner, David Adeleke aka Davido has described the 2024 United States’ presidential debate as the “worst” in the history of the country.
He made this known on his X page while reacting to the debate between incumbent US president, Joe Biden and former president, Donald Trump.
Biden and Trump engaged in a heated debate on Thursday night.
The debate between the Democratic Party and the Republican Party candidates was largely characterised by personal attacks.
Reacting to the debate on his verified social media handle, Davido, who was born in Atlanta, Georgia, described it as the “worst ever.”
He tweeted:“Still a democrat sha but worst presidential debate ever.”
Prior to the debate, Vice President Kamala Harris emphasized while speaking with supporters at a fundraiser, that the outcome of the debate will shape the presidential race.
She said, “I will tell you the debate is going to frame the race.”
On November 5, Trump would run against Joe Biden of the Democratic Party on the platform of the Republican Party in what would be America’s first rematch election in almost 70 years.
