This is only the beginning, and we see huge potential for further growth.”
Women in Basketball has been a key strategic priority for FIBA since 2019, with the goal of increasing female participation at all levels of the sport. The FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series plays a central role in this initiative, helping to build a larger fanbase and inspire future generations of female basketball players.
As the Series prepares for its sixth season, its mission remains clear: to showcase the immense talent of women’s 3×3 basketball players and continue expanding its reach worldwide.
FIBA 3×3, an exciting, urban format of basketball, sees two teams of three players face off on a half-court. Launched internationally at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games, it has grown into a professional circuit for men and women and made its Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020.
